Hi, I'm Andrew. I’m a qualified secondary teacher, SENDCO, life coach, and personal trainer with over 15 years of experience supporting young people across mainstream schools, SEN settings, pupil referral units, and SEMH specialist provisions. I’ve held key roles as SENDCO and pastoral lead, and taught a wide range of subjects up to GCSE level — always with a focus on connection, trust, and tailored support.
Now working full-time as a specialist tutor, I’ve delivered over 5,000 hours of one-to-one tuition to more than 150 students, each with their own story and strengths. My students include those with SEMH needs, autism (ASD), ADHD, ODD, visual impairments, and other complex profiles. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I meet each student where they are — with patience, humour, and a deep understanding of what helps them feel safe, seen, and capable.
Whether it’s rebuilding confidence, re-engaging with learning, or navigating the challenges of SEN, I offer practical, education-first support that’s rooted in experience and driven by genuine care.

I plan to study an MSc in Positive Psychology in the coming months.
I don’t believe education is just about ticking boxes or chasing perfection. For the young people I work with, it’s about feeling safe, seen, and supported — maybe for the first time in a long time.
I’m not here to fix anyone. I’m here to connect. To listen. To help students rediscover their strengths and build the kind of confidence that lasts beyond the classroom. That means using humour, warmth, and honest dialogue — not pressure or performance metrics.
I believe progress is personal. So I tailor every session to the student in front of me. Whether it’s through science, sport, coaching tools, or just a good conversation, I help young people move forward in ways that feel real and achievable.
Because when students feel better, they learn better. And when they learn better, they start to believe in themselves again.
